We might not actually be done with this thing yet

Hey folks, if you’re still out there, I’m looking to rev up Fanzine Hemorrhage again so hope you’ll stick around. Turns out I’ve still got plenty to talk about. In no way did my mania for older music fanzines cease since I last posted; more have come in the door that I feel probably deserve a proper reckoning-with on this site.

I felt that I’d been getting a little redundant earlier this year, and took it as a sign that maybe I’d said all there was to say about these zines. So now the challenge is to perhaps not be so redundant. Easier said than done, but here’s hoping.

I will attempt the resurrection next week, so please stay subscribed if you are, and tell a friend if any of this is their thing. I’m not moving it to Substack or anything, so there’s no profit motive whatsoever, just the great vibes I get when I see that soul-sucking AI tools from Google are hoovering up everything I’ve written here and turning it into the authoritative source for any & all questions about music fanzines from the 60s through the 00s. Who wouldn’t feel good about that?
